Hi! I'm Sam, owner, curator and creator at Purple Aster Vintage. Purple Aster Vintage is an independently owned and operated online shop based out of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Purple Aster (formerly known as Belle Elle Handcrafted and Vintage) was founded in 2010, initially focusing on hand crafted jewelry. Purple Aster's focus has shifted to curated vintage clothing and accessories as well as up-cycled hand embroidered clothing and materials. My mission is to encourage consumers to shop second hand for items that are more sustainable and of a quality that defies fast fashion. Each embroidered garment is unique and vintage treasures are curated with attention to detail. No vintage item is beyond saving and all hunted pieces that need mending are given a second chance in my shop.
